Sarah and David were married at The Great Barn earlier this year. This lovely couple chose simple, but colourful accents to really bring their wedding theme together. Bright blue bridesmaids and cheery sunflowers, plus lots of fun and games in the garden before the wedding breakfast. Captured beautifully by Fiona Walsh. They made full use of the grounds and garden and even our twinkly festoon lighting when the night drew in. What a wonderful day!
We are so excited to share this wedding with you today. Thank you so much Lucy Wallace Photography for sending over these beautiful images of Lauren and Jon, who were married with us this year. Lauren’s dress is absolutely incredible, don’t you agree!
Plenty of laughter, music and dancing was had by all and we ADORE the main image of all the gang together outside the barn doors. This makes us very happy indeed!

Toni Ardron and Michael Rose were married at The Great Barn Devon in May this year. We spoke to Toni who told us all about how they met, the proposal and all the lovely details of this very special wedding day, captured beautifully by Thomas Frost Photography.
We’ve been sent some stunning images from beautiful bride Josie and her very dapper husband Mike, who were married with us at The Great Barn this year. Every single picture captures the magnificence of the day and all it’s cracking little details, including our wooden trestle tables and metal folding chairs, which the couple chose from our range of furniture available. We think they look fabulous!! Thanks also to Chris Scuffins for taking the photography on the day. Such a talent.
The Great Barn Devon is a beautiful venue to get married in any time of the year. But autumn brings with it such decadence and rich beauty, as the leaves on the ivy turn to a deep red and the garden releases its hold on summer. With 120 acres of countryside to take advantage of, this truly is a stunning time to make memories.
We spoke to the lovely Katie & Chris about their recent wedding at The Great Barn Devon. With images courtesy of Justin Krause, we recommend you grab your favourite brew and take a load off for a few minutes, to digest this beauty. Katie’s choice of wedding gown is inspired, unique and totally gorgeous!
When photos drop into our inbox, it makes us very, very happy! And these are no exception. Florence and Richard were married here last month embraced by all their loved ones. The weather was spot on, the guests were beaming and that cake!!!
A great conference is no longer enough to keep people coming back. You need year-round engagement. Before budget cuts and travel limitations, a successful event planner needn’t worry about returning attendees for a popular conference. The annual conference was something association members committed to without thinking, especially if it was held at a swanky resort in a fun or exotic locale.
Today, a great event and a great location are not enough to guarantee return attendance. You must remain top-of-mind, or more importantly, top of budget to keep attracting attendees to your conference.
